school sucks

as i walked through my front door at 4.02pm, i thought to myself, 'there. i'll never be coming home from a school day again.' and like everything else, it was kinda a bittersweet feeling. the end wasn't quite how i had imagined it though. i decided not to bring a camera, despite accusations of being iconoclastic and unfeeling. the reason i gave was that if i had brought a camera, i probably wouldn't bother soliciting people to take a picture with me. while i did end up taking a few photos here and there, i realised the real reason was that i don't value photographs. especially in a situation like this where everyone's rushing to get everyone else to take the same photo over and over again. the photo i liked the most was the one at the back of LT6. if you don't know what i'm talking about, it means you're not supposed to haha. another reason was that, i didn't want to remember the 2 years by photographs alone. when i was walking out the gate i was looking out for the old cliche of people taking photographs of the school gate. reminded me of roger's farewell in a way, which probably hardened me to the whole idea of farewells. at the end of the service today i took the programme booklet and was about to throw it into the bin. but i held it over the bin for a full 2 seconds instead, before changing my mind and putting it back in my pocket. i thought i'd keep that as a memento or something. that, ironically, woulda been a photo-worthy moment.

today i wore my korean shirt. korean shirt being my abandoned school shirt with that korean celebrity's signature on it. i don't know why.

only when it's too late do you feel like doing something

4:11 PM

there was a boy who tried to rhyme
so hard he tried he had no time
to thank the ones who gave him tips
on how to end.
